Mike is our maintenance man, problem solver and all-round good egg. He is the one up a ladder before you arrive, checking the heating on a cold morning and making sure everything is ready so you can just relax and enjoy yourself.

You might spot him with a toolbox and a grin, but most of his best work goes unseen, which is exactly how he likes it. Here is to Mike, keeping the place ticking over behind the scenes.

Did you spot our April Fool’s post? 👀 Of course we won’t be switching anyone’s mobile to airplane mode (not that we could), but we heartily recommend switching off to properly enjoy the place 😊.

From today (Wednesday 1 April) the Coed will be introducing bookable #DigitalDetox stays, where your mobile will be automatically switched to Airplane Mode upon entering the grounds.

Side effects may include:
– hearing louder birdsong
– noticing cloud formations
