WALKING

Walking in the Vale of Glamorgan combines a fascinating 60 km stretch of the Wales Coast Path with the picturesque, historic beauty of inland Vale. Along its rugged coastline walkers can discover the last manned lighthouse in Wales (automated as recently as 1998), a college unlike any other at St. Donats and 16th century walled gardens at Dunraven Bay, plus the seaside bustle of Barry and Penarth.

Closer to home, their are a number of diverse walks that showcase our historic market town and surrounding fields and wooded paths.

CYCLING

Whether you are using us as a base to explore the delights of the Vale or looking for a pit stop, we welcome cyclists with open arms!

We have some dedicated bike racks at the front and the rear of the hotel and if you are staying with us, we will find somewhere safe to store your bike overnight.

Golf

We are perfectly placed to explore the South Wales golfing delights of Southerndown Golf Club, Pyle & Kenfig and Royal Porthcawl too name but a few…

We also work closely with Vale Golf Breaks and we would be happy to arrange a round or two should you wish!
