"Here for a wedding and the staff are all so friendly and helpful. Bit busy at breakfast but the staff got us some extra chairs so we could sit together. Can't fault it and even though the building is hundreds of years old it fairs better than many modern hotels."

"Great pub and venue. We were there for a family wedding. Staff and organisation faultless. Function room is a good size and multi purpose. It was rearranged for the requirements of the day. Bar prices not the cheapest but acceptable. Large car park at the rear. Pub itself still has it's old charm."

"A few of us flew down for a Welsh wedding and made a long weekend of it in The Bear. This 14th century coaching house has cosy comfy rooms with four posters, friendly staff , great gastropub food and an excellent cellar. Will visit again."
