New Year’s Eve weddings 

Some of our couples love the idea of getting married on New Year’s Eve to wake up as a married couple for the first time at the start of a brand new year. It’s also a fabulous time of year for weddings that bring a wonderful warmth and serious romance – think log firers, fireworks and rich, jewel tones from ruby, emerald or sapphire colour schemes. New Year’s Eve is also extremely popular with your guests, providing an ideal, joyful way to celebrate the last day of the year with a special crowd. 

2027 – a good year to get married! 

The Chinese calendar has the year from 6 February 2027 as the Year of the Fire Goat, which is considered to be extremely lucky and good for relationships, bringing harmony and emotional strength. July, August and September are said to be especially charmed – great news if you’re after a summer wedding! 

Numerology 

For the more spiritual couples, choosing their wedding date can have a deeper significance if they follow astrology or numerology, the ancient, mystical study of numbers that combines numbers to find dates that bring positive energy. 

Mirroring or palindrome dates and your wedding 

While things can get complicated when taking into account each couple’s individual Life Path numbers, according to numerology, some dates are seen as intrinsically positive. Equally, dates that echo the year are seen as memorable or even magical.
