The Grade 2 listed New House is a serene and romantic country pile, originally built by a wealthy Welsh industrialist, Thomas Lewis in the 1730s. New House is a country hotel located in the stunning Thornhill, just outside of Cardiff.
We love its extraordinary natural brightness, all year round, whatever the weather. The picture windows perfectly frame the secluded rural idyll and sweeping views out beyond the Cardiff cityscape across the sea to Devon. It quietly takes your breath away.
