"We had afternoon tea today at Coed y Mwstwr, it was beautifully presented by a lovely lady who never stopped smiling, she was very attentive without being overbearing. Everyone of the staff we seen were so friendly. The afternoon tea itself was absolutely delicious, a nice selection of sandwiches with quality fillings. And of course the cakes! Profiteroles, truffles, Welsh cakes, carrot cake, fresh strawberries, the most delicious scones I have ever had the pleasure of tasting with clotted cream and fruit preserve and a yummy little bombe with mirror glaze, and of course as much tea or coffee as we wanted. The staff made us very welcome and would highly recommend."

From our first contacts with the wedding coordinator team, they were so lovely and made sure that everything was straightforward, taking all the stress out of wedding planning. The wedding day itself was amazing and everyone at the Coed was brilliant and they pulled out the stops to ensure my husband and I had the best day. Our MC Ollie was absolutely brilliant - incredibly professional, made sure the day flowed smoothly with no hiccups and was a really fun person to guide us through the day. The food at the wedding breakfast was excellent and I have had countless compliments from our wedding guests about how lovely the venue/hotel was and about the quality of the food. I cannot recommend Coed-y-Mwstwr highly enough to anyone thinking of this as a wedding venue and want to thank them for making my wedding day so amazing.."

"Our son and daughter in law married here in December 2023 and what a fabulous occasion it was. From the initial contacts with the hotel until after the wedding, we were so impressed with everything. The downstairs rooms were beautifully dressed for Christmas and the hotel has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were all so helpful and caring and special thanks must be given to Paul who made the day run without a hitch. Many of the relatives had never been to Wales and didn’t speak English and what a brilliant experience everyone at the hotel gave them. Nothing was too much trouble.
